IM Load the Float Party

Mardi Gras is officially underway for the Long's! Today it rained very hard while we were at Chris's Load the Float Party. That is when all of the IM (Infant Mystics) members take all the goodies they are gonna throw down to the IM wharehouse where all of their floats are kept. Hired men with shopping baskets (stolen from local groceries, i'm sure) will unload cars for tips. Chris is on a float called, "Moonbeams, Magnolias and Mint Juleps" this year. He is usually always on float #5. He stands next to his dad, which makes it more fun for him. Gabby had alot of fun this year crawling onto all of the floats and running around the wharehouse with the other kids. It rained very heavy when we were there, making our stay longer than usual. But they always have hot dogs, chili and plenty of spirits to ensure the good times keep rolling during the unloading!
