2006 Challenge Cup Regatta

At the end of June we all went over to Pensacola Yacht Club for the Challenge Cup Regatta. This race is usually held in Gulfport, Mississippi...but Katrina damage made that impossible this year. Chris sailed on an Olsen 40 named "Pick up Line". Here's some pictures before the boat took off for one of the 3 days of racing. One is of Amy and Richard, and I was able to get Chris and Norbert to stand still long enough to get them together, too.




After the racing we all went back to our hotels, cleaned up and met back at PYC for drinks and dinner. Jeff and Lynn Bell also came over from New Orleans to sail.


Mobile Yacht Club as usual, didn't finish last, but didn't finish first--but everyone had enough Bushwackers to drink and shared plenty of laughs.
