Last weekend was power packed! Marilyn and Abbey Leigh came down for a visit from Tuscaloosa. Mother was here. And, it was the annual festival over in Fairhope! Chris, Anna Kat and I all got up early Saturday morning and met Buffy, Gabby, Gigi and Pawpaw in Fairhope for the Spring Fever Chase run.
It was a lot of fun for the girls-side by side in their jogging strollers ! We walked around almost all day, and we even got to see Emma Kay-who was at the festival with friends.
Saturday night we dyed Easter eggs with Marilyn and Abbey Leigh. They all came out VERY pretty!!!
The weather was wonderful and so we were able to boil shrimp, corn and potatoes on the back patio.
Sunday was the Easter Egg Hunt at Mobile Yacht Club. Chris had to fill in as the Easter bunny at the last minute and I was in charge of the event.
Thank goodness for Mother, Marilyn and Abbey Leigh who took care of Anna Kat at her first hunt.
It seems she was MOST interested in the pine bark around the playground!
Abbey Leigh and Marilyn went to The Grand Hotel Sunday night, but passed back through to spend Monday night with us. Here the girls are sharing Abbey's chicken nugget and fry dinner. Anna Kat thought she was SUCH a BIG GIRL!
