Every Christmas, Chris and I have worked side by side to make his family's cherished Red Velvet Cake. The recipe dates back to his family in New Orleans at least 100 years. It takes the 2 of us at least 2 hours to complete. I think that is why we only make it once a year! This year, Kat observed and helped. Yes, we put her in her Bumbo on the counter top, but we were standing over her constantly! I know Chris and I look rough...but remember we had only about 3 hours of sleep...
